Our PPOC Atlantic Spring Seminar will be at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel, in Dieppe, New Brunswick.  The event will kick off with the Perspectives Show on Friday evening, June 8th, followed by a full day Editing Workshop and Social Evening on the 9th.
Editing Workshop
Have you ever wondered if you are taking too long to edit your images? If you have ever wondered this, then you probably do take too long.   
Jamie Bard, MPA, will be hosting a workshop to share her knowledge on fast editing techniques that will save you both time and money. The workshop will be a full day workshop on June 9th.
This is a friendly reminder to our photographers that are shooting for the Perspectives ShowYour deadline to send your images is April 30th.
Registration to photograph for Perspectives is already full, however, members of the general public and any member of the PPOC Atlantic or any Camera Club can participate in an open contest to be selected for the "public image" in each category. It must be received (with no exceptions) by April 30th. Each image must have been photographed in 2018 and never been seen publicly. The list of Perspective challenges is included here and includes three words and three songs, along with additional information. Participants can send one image per category. Judges will select one image per category to be shown in the Perspectives Show.
PPOC Atlantic members registered to participate in the show include the following: Berni Wood, David James, Jamie Bard-Dube, Jessica de Korte, Maurice Melanson, Sue Fleming, Paula Lirette, Krista Powers, MaryEllen Nealis, Jean-Sebastien Duchesne, Lisa Anderson Pyke, Stephanie Pristine Guimond and Dylan Arsenault. Along with the six categories above we will be showing Perspective entries from the fall of 2017 that have never been presented in Moncton.
PPOC Atlantic Members receive a free entry to the Perspectives show on June 8th, and the general public pays $20.00. Ticket sales for general public will start in March. Each year Perspective selects a charity and donates $3.00 from each ticket sold. This year the charity will be the House of Nazareth Homeless Shelter in Moncton.
In addition we are adding Special Guest Presenters including one audio visual show from Focus Camera Club and one from Prince Edward Island's Holland College.
